b) Game Progress Data: We collect your game score, a list of completed levels, and a list of used hints. This data is associated with your username and is necessary for the game’s functionality.

c) Information Stored on Your Device (Local Storage): Our website uses your browser’s Local Storage for essential functionality, not for tracking. This includes:

• venatus_progress: Stores your username and game progress so you can resume your session.
• color-theme: Stores your preference for the website’s light or dark theme.
• cookie_consent: Stores your consent to our use of Local Storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in order to:

• Operate and maintain the game and leaderboard.
• Allow you to save and resume your progress.
• Prevent cheating and abuse of the game systems.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

We take security seriously. Your password is never stored in plain text. We use hashing to protect it.
